The Stingray Solar-Powered Pocket Torch is a compact, light and powerful LED torch. The double LED lights provide a bright output for this little torch. With a keychain built into the design the torch is easily attached to a keyring or bag to be with you when you need it.
The Solar-Powered Pocket Torch will provide 1 hour of lighting from being left to charge for 5 hours under direct sunlight. When it is fully charged it will produce 2 and a half hours of lighting. The LED lights should provide you with 50,000 hours of lighting life. The torch is certainly pocket sized measuring 6.6cm. x 3.8cm. x 1.4cm. (2.6in. x 1.5in. x 0.6in.) and with it weighing only 78g it adds little weight to a bag or key chain.
One issue with this torch would be its solar nature, unlike wind-up torches that you can power quickly before you need them this torch does require some forethought in placing it in direct sunlight to charge. Though once charged its rechargeable battery does seem to give a decent length of lighting time, compared to the often quickly fading wind up torches.
