Supertank Slimline Rainwater Tank

Supertank Slimline rainwater tanks are a new concept was designed by 2 architects who wanted to create a highly functional water tank without sacrificing appearance or space. Each tank holds around 400 litres each! So they suit themselves perfectly to collecting rain water to be used for watering the garden, flushing the loo or washing the car.

The rainwater tanks can be used to replace non-structural walls. The water tanks are currently being tested to gain certification as being suitable for structural walls too. News of this is likely to be announced around the product’s release date of early to mid 2009.

The rainwater tanks can almost be treated like any other wall, lending themselves to being rendered, painted or being left in their natural white colour. The walls can be used to replace brick, stud walls and concrete walls, which also lends itself to faster building times.

Admittedly, the walls are made from plastic, but it wouldn’t be too much to ask to see these being made from recycled plastics in the future. And another great feature is that you won’t have issues with termites and other insects!
