We frequently hear on TV and the media that we should be reducing our exposure to the sun to reduce our chances of getting skin cancer. However, it’s really difficult to know when you should cover up, and when you can show your skin to get a tan.
The Ultra-Violet Sun Exposure Warning Card can display the current sun intensity within 3 seconds in 3 different levels, low, medium and high. The card is roughly the size of a credit card and weighs only 30g, so it would be easy to keep the card with your sunbathing kit. Unfortunately, the card does not give you a matching sun-factor, which would be useful to know what sun blocking cream you need to wear to be safe from the sun’s rays.
