The Move-it Kit allows you to create a cardboard trolley quickly and easily to allow you to transport packages without the need for a vehicle. The cardboard parts of the kit can be stuck onto the box, providing you with two wheels and a handle to move you package with.
The Move-it Kit has been designed by David Graham to allow people to be able to take even large packages home themselves without needing a car or for the item to be delivered at a later date. The aim is to cut down on the amount of vehicle usage for transport of packages. This simple cardboard kit is designed to be easily stuck to just about any parcel or package that is up to 20kg in weight. The kit comprises of two stick on wheels and two types of handle that can be stuck onto the item you need to transport. The handles can be stuck on in a variety of ways to allow the kit to be used for a myriad of packages.
Due to the kit being made mostly from cardboard it is light enough to be taken with you, either taken on purpose when you are out shopping for a larger item, or to be carried with you in case during a shopping trip. Though the parts are designed to stick onto the box you need to transport they can be reused. The adhesive that is on the cardboard pieces should allow you multiple uses if the items are removed carefully, and additional adhesive can be added if required. The wheels have been used effectively for up to 10 miles.
Once the Move-it Kit has come to the end of its purposeful life it can be recycled, though many may find multiple uses for the items around the house. This kit frees users from the need to have suitable transport for larger, bulky packages. By cutting down on the need for vehicle transport the kit can help reduce the carbon footprint of the item you have purchased.
